Cinematicism

Not quite anamorphic despite the 2.39:1 crop, these are lenses with out-of-the-world looking oval shaped Bokeh rather than rounded ones and the most fantastic lens flares (think Star Trek). A good example I came across excitedly this week is the upcoming film Hidden figures , a story of 3 African-American mathematicians working on the NASA space program (it had me at “I need a mathematician.” :) To see the anamorphic Bokeh, look closely at the background, they look beautifully stretched!
